We have exciting news! Dana completed the 28 hour Comprehensive Assessment, Treatment, and Evaluation to Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders and is in the process of becoming certified in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT). OMT is the treatment of the Orofacial musculature to improve muscle balance, tonicity, and enhance correct function so that normal growth and development may progress in a stable muscular environment. It may include habit elimination (thumb sucking, nail biting), improve breath support and sleep, TMJ muscular dysfunction, dysphagia and feeding difficulties, tongue thrust, and improvement of articulation.
