Remus, a 23-year-old tabby, left his body on April 7, 2026. Adopted from the Chicago Anti-Cruelty Society as one of a bonded pair of seniors, he gave me eight years of love and devotion. He joins his soulmate, Mimi,a white short-hair, whom he protected, groomed and spooned. His last morning was as good as it could be. Chicken for breakfast, second breakfast, and third breakfast. Two naps and cuddles. And a lovely sunbath. His purr will be missed.
