And I'm a staunch advocate of taking time away to refresh, re-energize and cultivate other hobbies outside of work - and not just me, but my whole team as well.

We are so excited to celebrate Heather Blonsky, our new Chief Operating Officer at Raise The Bar Consulting!

Heather joined us over two years ago as the Head of Operations, and since then, she's brought her visionary thinking to help us scale exponentially in a thoughtful and intentional manner.

In a startup company just over 5 years old, Heather's contribution has been instrumental in helping us grow to the next level. She's built processes from the ground up, helped refine our training and methods, and make sure our leader experience has been nothing but stellar. And all this thru a pandemic, in which we had to quickly pivot.

Heather has really been working on herself to become an even more impactful leader, one who not only coaches and grows her team but takes a larger perspective of the business when making crucial decisions.

We are celebrating! We have officially coached over 500 managers all time through our Team Training and Bootcamps - a huge benchmark!

And we continue to see exponential growth - we've already trained as many leaders halfway thru 2021 as we did in all of 2020.

Our Founder & CEO, Aaron Levy, started Raise The Bar because he saw much discontent, job hopping, and overall job dissatisfaction among peers in his age group.

As he dove deeper into the work, he realized that organizations were experiencing something equally disturbing - they were investing funds into hiring and training talented employees, only to see them leave. Their quick fix often was to engage employees with quick promotions, unlimited vacation days, ping pong tables and free Lacroix and beer on tap, rather than addressing the real problem.

The single biggest point of leverage impacting the employee experience is their manager. And when you have a bad or ineffective manager, it impacts your whole employee experience as well as overall productivity.

At Raise The Bar, we have dedicated our work to helping empower managers with the tools, skills, and habits to be leaders of people. To coach each team member to reach their full potential.

I founded Raise The Bar Consulting, wrote the book Open, Honest, and Direct, and started The Open Honest and Direct Podcast to help companies transform their workplace by creating an environment where both the company and employees succeed.

My WHY is to transform the manager role – by empowering each manager with the tools, skills, and habits to be leaders of people.

It’s not enough for a manager to know what it takes to be a leader, rather it’s about them moving from knowledge to action and adopting the habits of a leader.
