There’s power in follow ups when securing new contracts and recurring partnerships📧

I always make sure that I’m an advent emailer!!

We use Google suites for our business and I’m known for sending follow up emails and scheduling the out.

Once contracting is over for the school year, (unless we already have summer program in the pipeline),emails are sent out immediately after July 1 because budgets typically drop during the first week.

I send proposals in April-May and schedule meetings with the admin team so that they are aware of what services look like prior to.

This allows them to already have your program in their next school year budget and allocate the funds from the gate.

Being prepared and following your school partner’s calendar, puts you in a winning position each time.

Offering your expertise to the schools by selling your business is not only a game changer but it is very lucrative. This is a massive way to get your business in front of a larger audience instantly. Here are a few tips that I have implemented to gain my own educational contracts.

Step 1: Research the schools you are interested in to create an understanding of their target audience and needs.

Step 2: Create a compelling pitch that focuses on how your program can help meet those needs of the student and or administration.

Step 3: Contact the school administrators and teachers to introduce your program and explain how it can benefit the school.

Step 4: Be prepared to answer any questions, have your funding on hand, and offer incentives/or live workshops to test the temperature of the success of your program at the school.

When offering your programs to the schools make sure you specify the length of your program and the accurate cost. Some schools are tapped at what they can accept and how many partners they can realistically maintain throughout the school year.

Going back to ask for more money never sits well with admin when you already stated the initial cost and submitted over a proposal.
