The situation right now for the arts is dire. Without continued and expanded federal relief, the Illinois creative sector’s immediate and long-term viability is in jeopardy.

Congress is debating the next round of COVID relief. This relief is necessary, and it needs to be done right. Join us in supporting Arts Alliance’s COVID Relief Policy Agenda for the Arts. We’re demanding stronger federal support for nonprofits and small businesses, especially in communities of color; continuation of expanded unemployment benefits; increased incentives for charitable giving; and federal assistance in offsetting state and local revenue shortfalls.
