Key Points of the role:

Ideally someone with 4 to 10 years of Human Resources experience and/or training, with strong emphasis in employee relations. SPR or SPHR certification preferred.

Summary: As a key strategic partner, the HR Business Partner works with management and employees and provides support in different areas of Human Resources.

• Provides dedicated support to employees, supervisors and managers with specific focus on optimizing engagement, performance and effectiveness of human resources. This includes training, employee relations, performance management, employee engagement and change initiatives. Provides guidance and coaching for questions and consultation related to HR topics, policies, issues and employee discipline.
• Provides support and problem resolution to employees including, but not limited to: Family Medical Leave and leave policies, disability and other related regulations and internal policies. Administers FMLA for the company, including tracking and communication with FMLA third party administrator and employees.
• Administers the company’s workers compensation program. Oversees the maintenance of safety files and records. Tracks, compiles and submits accident reports required by regulatory agencies and insurance companies. Communicates with employees, healthcare providers, workers’ compensation provider, and supervisors on employees’ return to work, including restricted work duty.
• Complies with safety and GMP requirements, designs and delivers various training programs on a wide variety of topics (i.e. policy training, employment law, communication, anti-harassment, etc.)

First shift with a rotating start time.
