Job Title: Human Resources HR Business Partner - MFG ENV
Location of role: Bloomingdale, IL
Salary or Hourly range: $70K to $85K Depending on experience DOE

Key Points of the role:
Ideally someone with 4 to 10 years of Human Resources experience and/or training, with strong emphasis in employee relations. SPR or SPHR certification preferred.
• Must have a solid understanding of FMLA (family leave act),
• Must have Employee Relations experience as it relates to MFG env.
• Must have Employee training and Workers compensation experience
• Must be able to conduct training in front of a group. Ideally from MFG env.
• Must understand SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, Power Point & Excel).
• Must be able to work the First shift with 3 different rotating start time each week.
Summary: As a key strategic partner, the HR Business Partner works with management and employees and provides support in different areas of Human Resources.
• Provides dedicated support to employees, supervisors and managers with specific focus on optimizing engagement, performance and effectiveness of human resources. This includes training, employee relations, performance management, employee engagement and change initiatives. Provides guidance and coaching for questions and consultation related to HR topics, policies, issues and employee discipline.
• Provides support and problem resolution to employees including, but not limited to: Family Medical Leave and leave policies, disability and other related regulations and internal policies. Administers FMLA for the company, including tracking and communication with FMLA third party administrator and employees.
• Administers the company’s workers compensation program. Oversees the maintenance of safety files and records. Tracks, compiles and submits accident reports required by regulatory agencies and insurance companies. Communicates with employees, healthcare providers, workers’ compensation provider, and supervisors on employees’ return to work, including restricted work duty.
• Complies with safety and GMP requirements, designs and delivers various training programs on a wide variety of topics (i.e. policy training, employment law, communication, anti-harassment, etc.)
First shift with a rotating start time.
