As proud as I am of my professional path, nothing compares to the growth, grit, and grace it took (and still takes!) to parent and persevere through every season of motherhood.

🌼To the moms showing up, day after day, with purpose and love— I celebrate you.

Motherhood is leadership. And this role will always be my greatest honor.

On this Mother’s Day, I’m reflecting with deep gratitude on the three extraordinary young adults I’ve had the privilege to raise. Two are thriving in college, and one—a proud J.D., Double Domer, and soon-to-be Harvard master’s graduate—is now married and launching their next chapter.

As proud as I am of my professional path, nothing compares to the growth, grit, and grace it took (and still takes!) to parent and persevere through every season of motherhood.

The latest research from Bank of America and Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy reaffirms what many of us in the sector have long known: women are not only generous donors but also strategic decision-makers in household giving. With 85% of affluent women influencing or making philanthropic decisions, their impact is undeniable. 📈
