Last week, Cotter’s VP of Buildings, Keisha Johnson, and Project Manager, Patrick Aiston, joined Milwaukee Recreation staff and local leaders at the grand reopening ceremony for the Stark Playfield. The renovated playfield and fieldhouse create a safe, more accessible community recreation space. The playfield features an upgraded walking loop, age-appropriate playground equipment, a splash pad, shade structures, a multi-purpose field, and updated basketball and tennis court facilities.

Last week, our Chicago Public Schools team put their masonry skills to the test at the Masonry Restoration Workshop hosted by the International Masonry Institute. Activities included hands-on demonstrations and workshops covering masonry repair and restoration, bricklaying, sealants, and more relevant topics.

On Saturday, our College of Lake County project team celebrated the grand opening of CLC's Prairie Restaurant at Brae Loch. We enjoyed sampling the new restaurant's food, all prepared and served by the college's culinary students. Cotter is proud to be a longstanding partner with CLC.

Last week, Cotter's Buildings group had the privilege of attending the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Lake County Regional Operations and Communications (ROC) Facility. The facility will be a 37,500 sf multi‐agency emergency dispatch center located on Lake County's Libertyville Campus. Cotter is providing project management services on this innovative and exciting project!
