I’m being productive this week…or at least I’m trying to be (and trying to catch up). Sadly, I’m over a year behind (stilllllll). The videos are from July/August of 2022 and we are solidly in 2024. Don’t worry, 2023 will not be so tedious. I resolved to only do one video a month for 2023 (it should be much more manageable and filled with less day-to-day things)....

2023 is coming to an end and I’m still in Thailand. Holiday cards are still a thing for me, but this time I’m taking it completely digital. So, below is my wrap-up of 2023. Jessie finally had some time off, so we decided to head south for a mini vacation (otherwise known as a long weekend). We started our journey on Thursday night (taking an overnight train) and arrived in Koh Tao (otherwise known as paradise) on Friday morning. I’ve been diving “on” Koh Tao before, but have never spent time on the island. It’s a small island....

I got invited to go diving in Malapascua (it's in the Philippines). Though this would put me in a tight spot financially, I couldn't pass up the opportunity either. Malapascua is THE place to go diving to encounter thresher sharks. Thresher sharks are on my list (I didn't see the one that was supposed to be in the Red Sea). And, the Philippines are on my Asia countries bucket list....

So, to sum up my trip to Vietnam. It was amazing! I knew I would love the food, but I didn't have much expectations other than that. Even though I was only in 1 city for a week, it was great. It's a beautiful country from what little I saw. So I can only imagine how the rest of the country looks and later this year, I will get a chance to explore Hanoi and Da Nang....
