Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈

Allyship isn't a marketing campaign. It’s a daily practice of showing up for the community, lifting up diverse voices, and investing in local talent.

Today, we are celebrating Pride by shouting out the incredible team at Little Chef Little Cafe (). We had the absolute pleasure of working alongside this LGBTQ+-owned business at the recent Safe Passage event, and they are the real deal. Delicious food, amazing energy, and a vital part of our community fabric.

Supporting the LGBTQ+ community means supporting LGBTQ+ business owners, creators, and leaders. Let’s keep that energy going all month long and every day after.

Drop your favorite LGBTQ+-owned local businesses in the comments so we can all follow, support, and invest in them!

June 19, 1865, is the foundation for everything we build today.

Juneteenth marks the moment emancipation reached the final enslaved people in Galveston, Texas. It is a day of profound celebration, reflection, and historical truth. For Astounding Auctions, this day holds immense significance.

Because of that freedom, Black-led organizations have the right to exist, thrive, and command industries. As a Black woman-owned agency, we recognize that our ability to lead rooms, drive strategy, and create global impact is a direct result of the doors opened by emancipation.

Today, we celebrate the resilience of those who came before us. We honor our roots by continuing to build a legacy of excellence, equity, and undeniable leadership.

We cannot celebrate modern business leadership without honoring the day that made it possible. Happy Juneteenth from the Astounding Auctions team.

Why did you hold a gala to read your annual report? The annual report tells your network what you did. The event tells them why your impact and the work mattered.

Our founder, TiWanna "TK" Kenney, recently sat down with Kristen and Samantha on podcast to talk about the real strategy behind multi-million dollar rooms.

If your event team treats the auctioneer like a vendor rather than a partner who shows up right before the doors open, you leave money on the table. The actual strategy starts 90 days out when we map your room, analyze donor trends, and build your appeal.

Head to the link to watch the full episode on YouTube. You will learn exactly how to shift your next live auction from standard transaction to long-term relationship.

Make sure to follow for incredible weekly insights that elevate the nonprofit sector.

Justin Go stood at that podium and told us his daughter Michelle's last words.

Then he told us what he did next.

TK followed him onto that stage immediately after at the Asian American Federation's 37th Impact Awards. The room was not waiting to be convinced of anything. It knew why it was there.

Reading a room means knowing when your job is not to generate feeling but to honor what is already in the space and give it somewhere to go.

That is what that Wednesday evening was.

To AAF, to Catherine Chen, to Justin, and to every person who raised a paddle: we saw you. Thank you for trusting us with that room.

Happy Mother’s Day from Team Astounding.

Today we celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, bonus moms, and mother figures who lead with strength, patience, love, and sacrifice every single day. Thank you for the care you give to your families, your communities, and the people who depend on you most.

We hope today brings you a moment to feel appreciated, celebrated, and loved.

With gratitude,
Team Astounding
