Another VRS Rotor Stator Mixer ready for shipment! 🚚

Built for high-shear mixing, dispersion, emulsification, and deagglomeration, the Schold VRS reduces batch times while improving product consistency. By continuously drawing material through the rotor/stator head, the system creates intense mechanical shear that breaks down agglomerates and improves dispersion.

The VRS is commonly used in:
🎨 Paints & coatings
🩹 Adhesives & sealants
✒️ Inks & resins
🧪 Chemical processing
💅 Cosmetic and specialty formulations

Compared to standard high-speed dispersion, rotor stator technology can significantly reduce processing time and may eliminate additional grinding or milling steps depending on the application.

An incredible week at the 🎨 American Coatings Show in Indianapolis!

We want to thank everyone who stopped by the Schold and EMI Mills booth to see the equipment, ask questions, discuss applications, and spend time with our team throughout the show. It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our colleague and friend, Joseph “Joe” Barr.

Joe served as a Lead Mechanic at Schold Manufacturing for the past 9 years. During that time, he earned the respect of everyone around him through his dedication to his work, his reliability, and his willingness to help others. More importantly, Joe was a great friend to many here and someone whose presence will be deeply missed.

Outside of work, Joe was a devoted father whose greatest joy in life was his three daughters. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

Join us for a day in the life at EMI Mills!

From engineering to production to lab testing, our facility has it all. In one building, we are able to run our manufacturing process from start to finish. We have perfected the ability to communicate between departments to provide our customers with the smoothest experience possible.

Our mills are carefully designed by our engineering team before being handed off to the milling experts that modify, assemble, and run-off the equipment.

In the lab, we bring in customers to witness their product underdo lab tests, quality checks, and particle size analysis.

For all of our post-mounted equipment, we use a dual-handed lift mechanism to ensure operator safety and ease of use.

The VHS shown has a fully customized control panel, a telescoping lid design, and a specialized blade.
