Active parenting is a decision founded on God’s word, sacrifice, intentional covering, mutual honor & respect for others, & embracing the journey your children may be on.
An active parent doesn’t force their children to “grow up fast” because of their emotional instability or immaturity.
An active parent doesn’t uncover their children through gossip, slander, envy, or public humiliation because of displacement of their decisions.
And I don’t know where my life would be without the active and healthy parenting from my late maternal grandparents, Charles D. Cunningham Sr. & Opertius Cunningham.
Much of who I am and the mission I’m dedicated too is solely because of their love, sacrifice, value of people, hospitality, boldness, & passionate relationship with the Lord.
