American Aria

American Aria American Aria bridges the gap between Artistic Management searching for their ideal candidates and Opera Singers who want to be heard for their qualities.

As a service to the Opera community nation-wide, Aria America is proud to present a tool to assist Opera-Houses in their search for highly-qualified performers in their local region within the United States. Each performer is carefully qualified to ensure that we are offering the finest artists to companies who are seeking to fill principal and other roles. Aria America offers a unique search func

tion in which those seeking to find qualified performers for specific roles by voice type, past roles performed, musical education and many other search-criteria, are able to narrow down their search easily. Equally, this tool is a valuable way for those performers seeking to enter the professional arena of operatic singing or those with already established careers, to project their voices to many opera companies at once. By developing a profile with all necessary information for a clear evaluation by those who would be auditioning them, a singer can convey their entire portfolio easily and in one place.

The moment before Pinkerton kills Butterfly with his choices, Bergonzi nearly makes you empathize with him in this incredible trio. You can't find a more beautiful juxtaposition anywhere else.

Please share if you love opera!

At the end of La Favorita, Fernando forgives his love, the favorite mistress of the king for being with him, or something like that...
He wants to flee away together, but she dies and he freaks out.

Pavarotti sings a crazy high-note at the end here, one of the many reasons he was one of the greatest tenors to ever live.

Mary Ann Stewart & Ed Parks' voices melt together in this dark and beautiful duet from Thérèse Raquin composed by Tobias Picker. Stewart’s strong and dramatic voice complements the music perfectly, which flows like a tired river. Thank you to Long Beach Opera for this great music!

Adolphe Music's 'Noon, Not a Sound' is a very compelling and powerful piece of music. With a powerful, strong and consistent voice, Victoria Fox commands the aria. If she is not a Wagnerian Soprano in the works, I don't know what is. Enjoy this moving aria...

Ezio Pinza's voice was a flowing mammoth of a sound. The quintessential Italian bass voice combined with consistency from top to bottom and no narrowing of the sound at any point in his range is a particularly fine wine. With impeccable breath control and diminuendi, the instrument was a pleasing sound all around; there is no reason not to love it.

Many say that Opera is a dying art-form, and although it doesn't enjoy the mainstream media attention that it used to in the earlier half of the 1900's, it has been given a breathe of life with crossover music by singers like Luciano Pavarotti Official, Josh Groban, Sarah Brightman and many others like them. If the youth are exposed to opera, it will continue to grow and change more and more lives for hundreds of years to come.

Turkish bass, Burak Bilgili's thick black voice is suited perfectly for ominous and commanding roles and arias like Banquo & his foreboding 'Come dal ciel precipita'... Performed at the Michigan Opera Theatre - Detroit Opera House, Bilgili's portrayal was truly convincing and perfectly paired with Stephen Powell's powerful & fantastic interpretation of Macbeth. Thank you to the Detroit Opera House for creating an awesome evening of Verdi!
