Two great days on location at the UF Levin College of Law

Our MF Digital team spent two full days working alongside the UF Law team to capture the people, perspectives and stories behind its Legal Master’s and JD programs.

From faculty, current student and alumni interviews to program leadership and campus footage, we’re building a deep library of original video content that can be used across paid media, social, web and demand nurture throughout the year.

Effective marketing starts with authentic stories, and the right voices to tell them.

Thank you to the UF Law team (especially Jennifer McIntyre Whitney Smith Connor Lape Carlens Clervoyant) and of course Dean Merritt McAlister for the partnership and to everyone who stepped in front of the camera this week.

A great few days at the ABA Deans Workshop!

We enjoyed meeting with law school deans, admissions leaders, and marketing teams from across the country to discuss how AI is changing the future of student recruitment.

Our session, “A Dean’s Primer on AI Search,” sparked some fantastic conversations about what schools can do today to improve their visibility in AI-powered search experiences.

Your website still matters, but differently.
Your graduate program website still matters.
But the way it matters is changing.

In the past, the website was mostly the destination. A prospective student searched, clicked, landed, read, and hopefully inquired.

Today, the website is also source material.

Google, AI search tools, and other discovery platforms use public content to shape the answers prospective students see before they ever reach your site.

That means unclear pages, thin program descriptions, missing FAQs, inconsistent degree language, and weak proof points do more than hurt conversion.

They can make your program invisible or misunderstood in the very places where prospects are forming their first impression.

For law and business schools, this is critical.

If AI cannot clearly understand who the program is for, what career problem it solves, how it differs from adjacent degrees, and why the institution is credible, prospects may never get far enough to ask admissions a question.

The new enrollment question:

Is your program built to be found, understood, and recommended in an AI-shaped search world?

The prospective graduate student click is disappearing

For years, higher ed marketing teams have asked: “How do we get more people to click?” That question is still important. But it is no longer enough.

More and more prospective students are getting answers directly from Google, AI tools, Reddit threads, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other sources before they ever visit a program website.

That matters for law schools and business schools.

A prospective student may ask:

“Is a master’s in legal studies worth it?”
“What can I do with a graduate business analytics degree?”
“Best online programs for working professionals in compliance.”
“Do I need a JD, LLM, MLS, or certificate?”

If your program is not showing up clearly in those answers, you may be losing consideration before you ever see the inquiry.

Enrollment pressure is no longer just a lead-generation problem.
It is a visibility, credibility, and answer-quality problem.

A great day at Booth.

Today, the MF Digital leadership team met with the Booth marketing team, followed by lunch with two of our founder’s former marketing professors, Pradeep Chintagunta and Sanjay Dhar.

Their teaching helped shape the strategic, data-driven approach that continues to guide MF Digital’s work today, especially how we think about market behavior, positioning, and enrollment growth.

We’re grateful for the Booth foundation and for the professors whose influence continues to show up in our work with graduate and professional programs.
