She Believed She Could

Things have been quiet on the motivational side of things. The past few months required a pause from this part of my work. I got the shop through the holiday season and into 2023. My husband was ordained as an elder in our church and well, I still have six children at home.

Today I got the stirring in my bones to get back in the saddle. Here's a little something that has given me tremendous freedom and peace as I raise my children, run a business and serve Jesus.

This is the art closet of my 11 year old daughter. Some days the doors don't close. Some days the contents spill out into the hallway. Some days, if I let it, this closet teaches me some important lessons.

This closet reminds me that we all need a creative outlet. We were made in the image of a wildly creative God.

The maker of mountains, sea creatures, DNA and galaxies made you and he did it IN HIS IMAGE. He made us to create.

The same way I marvel at a painting by my child, HE marvels at you. He loves what you paint, what you write and what you build.

What you do isn't a waste of time. It isn't frivolous. It is purposeful. It is meaningful. It is a tribute to the one who made you.
