🇺🇸❤️ Our Hearts Are Full ❤️🇺🇸
Yesterday, my group Freedom Quilts of Valor had the tremendous honor of presenting 13 Quilts of Valor to thirteen incredible veterans during our Annual Quilt of Valor Ceremony.
Every Quilt of Valor begins long before the ceremony. It starts with generous hearts, talented hands, countless volunteer hours, and a shared desire to thank those who answered the call to serve our country. Yesterday, those hours of stitching became moments of healing, gratitude, and honor.
Watching each veteran wrapped in a quilt made especially for them is something that never loses its meaning. Every smile, every tear, every hug, and every story reminds us why we do what we do. A Quilt of Valor is more than fabric and thread—it is a lasting expression of appreciation from a grateful community.
To the 13 veterans we were privileged to honor, thank you. Thank you for your courage, your sacrifice, and your commitment to protecting the freedoms we enjoy every day. It was our honor to wrap each of you in a quilt made with love and respect.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make this ceremony possible:
❤️ Our dedicated Freedom Quilts of Valor members and volunteers.
🤍 The families and friends who came to celebrate their veterans.
💙 Grace Harvest Church for graciously hosting our ceremony.
❤️ Everyone who donated their time, talents, and support to help us continue our mission.
As quilters, we often say that every stitch tells a story. Yesterday, those stories came together in one room, reminding us that freedom is never free and that gratitude should always be shown.
From the bottom of our hearts…thank you for allowing us the privilege of honoring our nation’s heroes.
With gratitude,
Freedom Quilts of Valor
