On September 11, 2001, the world changed in a way that none of us could have imagined. The attacks on the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and Flight 93 claimed the lives of nearly 3,000 innocent people, leaving a permanent scar on our nationβs heart.
As we remember this day, we honor the memories of those who perishedβordinary people who went to work or boarded a plane, unaware that their lives would be tragically cut short. We also honor the bravery of the first responders who rushed into danger, sacrificing their lives to save others.
"Never forget" is not just a phrase. It is a solemn promise to carry forward their memories, to support the families who lost loved ones, and to recognize the strength and resilience of the human spirit that emerged from the darkness. It reminds us of the importance of unity, compassion, and standing against hatred in all its forms.
On this day, we reflect, we mourn, and we vow to rememberβnot just the lives lost, but the heroism, the sacrifice, and the enduring hope that followed the tragedy. We will never forget.
