Custom projects, and trying new things always come with risk. Having customers willing to support those efforts is the only way these opportunities are granted. This project has humbled me more than any other in recent memory. On my end... there were delays, mistakes, design changes, indecisiveness...the gauntlet. This customer never flinched. Character is often proven most true when grace is required, and Tom Willett has been a pleasure to do business with. If you are looking or listing, nobody will work harder for you. When I'm given full liberty to design/build a custom piece for someone, I consider it the highest compliment. This customer is one of those guys, and I appreciate his repeat business.
With that said...my kids made me aware that I had inadvertently built a football field, and that a laser engraved Power T would look pretty sharp on the 50 (Go Vols)! So...if any of you football folks want your favorite team logo on a nice coffee table, we can do it!

I rarely think to do before and after shots but this transformation of a wall was incredible. My customers had a cool vision for this entertainment center, and I appreciate the trust they placed in me to bring it to life. Notice how well the American Chestnut Oak tops and mantle accent the beautiful White Oak Floors they recently had refinished. Also, big thanks to Dave Mallonee for stepping in and helping me out with this one.
