Pamela Matte Photography

Pamela Matte Photography I'm a location photographer. I'm always up for a challenge and the harder the challenge the more cre I wear many hats in my job.

I'm a location photographer, I also make slide shows and repair damaged or old pictures. I love seeing the faces of my clients when they see their pictures, slide show or what ever I have done for them, and they see their story unfold. That's what I try very hard to do, " Tell Your Story ". Every day we make memories, and It's my job to capture your special memories and have them last a life time.

I make a lot of slide shows unfortunately for funerals. When I make one, I look at all the pictures and even when I have never met the person I will be able to tell who this person was. Then I can tell their life story and celebrate their life. All my slide shows have music, it may be one song or ten songs, it could be pieces of songs here and there. I put what ever it takes to tell and celebrate that persons life. No matter who they were they were someone special to someone and impacted someones life. So that makes them special to me and I make sure that their story is told right.

I wanted to share this again. I had hoped I would never have to share it again. I hope that it may help someone save their precious memories.
My thoughts and prayers are with all the people in Texas and Louisiana that have been effected by this horrible nightmare.
I may live in Louisiana now, but part of my heart will always be in my home town of Cypress Texas.

As many of you here in Louisiana, I also was hit with water in my home. Praise The Good Lord it wasn't as bad as some I have seen.
We all have many good memories in our homes and that is one thing that can never be taken away from us. We also capture those memories in pictures.
If you have pictures that got wet here are a few tips to save them.
1- If they are in a frame don't try to take them out. They may be stuck to the glass and if you try and take them out they could tear. Let them dry and you can scan them through the glass.
2- If you have photo albums that are wet, same thing. Leave them in. If you can take the album apart so each page can dry then try and do that.
3- If you have loose pictures, try and set them in a cool dry place and if possible try and spread them out. If they are stuck don't try to force them apart.

I do restore pictures as best I can, and will be happy to help you.
I fix all military pictures at no cost to anyone.
If you have any questions or advice on saving your precious memories please feel free to contact me.

My number one advice I give to everyone is to take all your pictures and have them put on a disc. Because it's something like this that could cause you to loose all your precious pictures and memories.

I hope I have helped someone.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of our great people of Louisiana. Our home!!'
May God Bless and Keep You All Safe!!!!

Because someone thought it was OK to drink and drive. I'm making a slide show for a very sweet, kindhearted young lady. A young mother who's son will never hug, kiss, or just be there for him. For all those times you just need your Mom. That's what was stolen from this little boy. He may never understand why his Mommy is not here.
When you get behind the wheel of a vehicle and have been drinking or doing drugs, YOUR actions can affect many lives. Not just your own.
Now we have a family that has lost someone that can never be replaced, and all her friends and the people's lives she touched.
We also have a young man sitting in jail because he now has to face the consequences of his actions. His family also will suffer for his actions. Yes, they will see him again but it won't be across the kitchen table.
Many lives are now forever changed. If your going to drink leave your keys at home or hand them over to someone that's not drinking. Or call someone to come and get you. As I always told my own children I would rather go get you at anytime, than have to go identify you.

The shot is not worth it!! First it's illegal to shoot on the tracks.
Yes, I have done shoots on tracks, but the tracks I use are no longer in use. They go nowhere, they just end, but you still have to get permission to use them. Never go on active tracks, not even if they are only used once a year.

There has been another tragedy involving a dangerous photo shoot on train tracks. A 16-year-old boy was struck and killed by an Amtrack train this past Mon

Hello everyone, I pray all is well with all of you. I know it's been a while since I've posted anything. I have been crazy busy.
I wanted to tell you that there's going to be some changes with the name to my page and I need your help.
I will be changing the name of my business. I just don't know to what yet. That's where you come in.
I will also be doing sewing and monograming.
So I thought I would have a contest in search for my new name.
The person that comes up with the right name will receive a 16 x 20 canvas of anything you choose.
If someone can come up with a name that incorporates both businesses, then that person will also receive the 16 x 20 canvas and a tote bag with what every you want embroidered on it.
Thanks for the help,
Pamela Matte

After reading this story I feel this must be said.

Brittany Champagne had done what many parents do — share family photos on Facebook.

While on Instagram Wednesday night, Champagne made a disturbing discovery. She found a picture of her 8-year-old daughter on a profile of a person claiming to be a bisexual cheerleader.

“I clicked on there and I found a girl claiming to be 11-years-old as my daughter, and she’s a bisexual cheerleader and her whole page is about gay pride,” she told KUTV.

The mother looked into this further and found pictures of her 9-month-old son, as well as hashtags of p**n sites next to the photos of her kids.

“I can’t imagine how my kids would feel,” she said. “I feel beyond violated, so I don’t even know what they would feel.”

Champagne relayed her findings to Unified Police and is working around the clock to get these photos off of social media.

“I seriously feel like the worst mom having put these on there and seeing what happened,” she said. “As far as looking at anybody’s photos, you’re not going to be able to see mine. I just won’t have them up.”

The police told KUTV that there isn’t much that can be done as of now as no actual crime was committed.

It is not yet clear how the pictures were accessed considering Champagnes photos were “visible to friends only.”

DO NOT COPY, CROP OR DOWNLOAD any of my pictures without written consent.
If you download any of them that is stealing and I will file charges against you. I will not let this happen to one of my clients.
If it is not YOUR pictures you have no right to them.
I will do anything and everything to protect my clients and their families.
When it comes to children I promise you I WILL do anything to protect them.
I hope you understand why I felt this needed to be said.
I have seen this happen to a fellow photographer friend of mine and it was her own child. They stole her picture and had people accuse her of stealing the picture and claiming it wasn't her child.
Yes, they do have crazy people like that.
Thanks for understanding and have a Blessed Day!!
