This life has been tough!! It was pretty difficult at times! Sometimes it seemed impossible and I felt like giving up. I’ve lost so much time with my Family and Friends. It took me down a dark path. It made me make some bad decisions in the past. I’ve lost some really important people in my life, and it caused me to fall deeper into my depression. I was down and out for a few years but I kept going and didn’t show it! I was always busy taking care of everyone else and everything else but myself. That’s what made me sane and happy to see other people around me smiling and enjoying life. I just didn’t know I needed some mental help myself. It took awhile for me to see it different. But still no matter what this life throws at me and no matter what the circumstances wer I still decided to choose to show up every single day!! After a lot of hard battles with my demons and life trauma. And going through the ups and downs. It made me much wiser. I now accept the fact that I am not able to change the things I do not have any control over. I believe very strongly that God has his plans for me and I am okay with that. I am only human and I have made some mistakes but I am grateful that I went through them tough times because it has made me a stronger person and a much wiser person.

Our weekend of celebration, culture, and connection is coming up!! From captivating performances to hands-on cultural workshops, there's something for everyone.

WORKSHOP DAY
🗓️ Friday, August 22, 2025 | 1 PM – 8 PM
📍 Heritage High School, Vancouver, WA
Join us for a variety of free or low-cost workshops, including: Chamorro Dance, Pandanus Bracelet Weaving, Chamorro Sign Language, CHamoru Genealogy, and many more!

FESTIVAL DAYS

📍 Blue Lake Regional Park, Fairview, OR
💰 Free Entry! | $5 Parking Fee
The festival kicks off with a special Opening Ceremony at 9 AM on Saturday.

🎶 Featuring performances from Chloe Andre Music, Kutturan Mariånas, Cris Cruz, Guma' Imahe, and headliner J.J. "The Legend" Concepcion with The One Marianas Band. 🎉 Plus, don't miss the Fatinåsi Kelaguen Challenge, the Marianas Truck Meet, Beer Garden, local vendors, and more!

🎶 Enjoy performances by RA Khan, Metgot Manggåfa, Bounce Cruz of ST1reggae, Zarpana, and a return performance from headliner J.J. Concepcion with The One Marianas Band. 🏃‍♀️ Activities include the Marianas 5K & Tropixx Warmup, cultural exhibits, and raffle drawings.
