If you missed the previous post we now have a fillable application on the website! You will no longer need to print and fill out. Just hit the application tab, fill in the blanks and hit submit and you application is all set! If you have any questions, comments or suggestions we are always listening! This Saturday will be extra busy as the Monthly Card show brings over 2000 people inside the Mall which will spill over to the Market! Bring your A game! We will have great weather, we have several Food Trucks and Food Booth Vendors and I know the Vendors have Great Products!

As you all know in the short time the Market has been in existence, we try to improve the experience for the Vendors and the Guests each week. As you may or may not know we have had a very tremaltreous relationship with the new owners of Eastgate Mall. We have been at the Eastgate Mall for 5 years now.

The Outlet Connection Property is leased from another Investment Group who we have a great relationship with. Unfortunately the Hull Group (Owners of Eastgate Mall) own a small piece of the parking lot next to the Market. We are basically being held hostage to use the space. With that being said we are looking at redoing our Vendor Map. I also have been approached by some of the vendors about the black top during the hot summer months and some Vendors expressing concerns. On the Flip side if you use a colorful tent I had several Vendors stating customers came to the Market off of the advertising on their tents!

All the Grass area next to the Market is part of the property we lease. My thought process is to utilize some of the grass area for our standard and basic vendor areas. This will then free up space for our guests to park in those areas currently be used for Vendors. When you are at the Market tomorrow, look around and say to yourself, would you like to be in the grass area or would you like the layout the same. I see benefits and negatives in both setups. I'll have Linda come around and talk to each of the Vendors to get your feedback in person. We value your input!

The Market will be full tomorrow with Many New Vendors and Many new activities for the Kids And Family Entertainment! Lu Lu Suds is bringing 3 baby goats to Pet and Take Photos With. Kirk Charlton Arts will be doing Free Face Paintings or Caricatures and Ready Now Roofing is doing Free Balloon Art for All!

Let's Bring Our A Game tomorrow as the weather will be beautiful and the guests will be out to support ALL the Vendors! The Eastgate Vendors Market is getting noticed, people are paying attention! Let's continue the change on how Markets are executed! To Build a Strong Vendor Community that will overcome ANY Negative Perception or Outcome!

Tuesday June 9th Market Update:

As each week goes by we try to improve the Market to make it the best possible for that week! #

As The Eastgate Vendors Market has ALWAYS been about the Local Community and Local Families, we are going ALL out this week to really Bring Family Joy to ALL in the Community! As we know times are Challenging, The Market will bring several companies together to give the First 25 families Free Face paintings or Kids and Adult Caricatures by Kirk Charlton Arts, Free Balloon Art by Ready Now Roofing and Lu Lu Suds will bring Three of their Baby Goats to pet and take pictures with!

If you are still on the side lines deciding whether or not to be a Vendor, reach out to the current local vendors!
The proof is in the results. We are building a strong local vendor community that takes care of each other and has developed a quality following of guests. See the difference between The Eastgate Vendors Market and the rest. We are all NOT the same! Experience the Difference! We are working on setting up a 5031C so we can take our Commitment to the Next Level!

To have some fun and raise money for local charities we will be setting up a split the pot hopefully by next weekend's Market! Furniture Connection will start the pot with $500 and be next week's sponsor. Each week we would like to see another local business be the Sponsor of the Week and determine which local charity will get the proceeds for that week. As we get the proper legalities set up we would like to hear from you the guests and vendors, who should be the first recipient of the First Split the Pot Event. We are continuing to evolve and make the Market Fun, Exciting and First Class and the main mission to bring Positive Vibes to the community and Eastgate Mall!

Monday June 8th Vendor Update:

As we reflect this past weekends Market, we always look at ways to continuing the Growth and Integrity of the Market. As we had several no shows and no pays Sunday, my heart was ripped out for the Vendors that kept their commitment, as we would have laid the Market out differently! For the Vendors that kept their commitments, they provided a first class look and still had a great Sunday Market! As basic common courtesy and respect for the Market those Vendors will be put on a list to determine if that is a vendor for the future!


As I personally talked to all the Vendors Sunday, the ones that hustled, greet their guests (your customers) had incredible sales, the best ever of any Market which put a big smile on my face!

Many that were at other events on Saturday stated they had ZERO Sales at other Markets
(That made me unhappy for them) I see many markets and events post slow or no sales at all or minimal traffic! (Again unhappy for them) But made feel better about the Eastgate Vendors Market is Quality versus Quantity as ALL Vendors that "run their business" are successful! Quality Vendors will always bring Quality Guests! I'm super happy to see the comradery between the Vendors and the Eastgate Vendors Market Family Growing! (Proud Papa 😊) With that being said, as a thank you to our current Vendors, any current Vendor who refers another new Vendor that signs up will get a "Free Day" at any Market event of their choice! It makes me very excited to see the referral process in action and wanted to say Thank you to continue the growth of the Market!

As we have tried to run a tight ship and keep the standards at a certain level to set this Market apart from others, I personally have had several guests reach out over the last few days and ask about a "Flea Market" area. To be honest this was a tough come to Jesus conversation with myself, but in any sales operations its not about your personal thoughts or feelings it's about what the guests wants!

Effective immediately, for this weekends Market, we will have a separate area for these Vendors. This will open the door for many Vendors that have been turned away up to this point. This was always to keep the integrity and standard of what I thought the Market was to be. As any business owner will attest to, you listen to your customers, your guests, to give them what they want to continue the growth of your business and the Market. This will bring more guests for ALL Vendors. We will try this through the end of June and evaluate what the current Vendors response is, the guest experience and the new Flea Market area. Let's work together on another name for Flea Market! Open to any suggestions! This will be listed as our "Basic Vendor" on the application and vendor layout!

Our Wednesday Eastgate Vendors Market Update:

As many have let me know the Scammers are trying to get in the Group and steal people's information! There is ONLY one person who handles ALL Applications and ALL Payments. I was hoping the website would be live today but it looks like unfortunately it will take a couple more days. We are tweaking the application aspect to be real time and fillable on the site with a calendar to book your dates. Attached in this post will be the updated application and Vendor Layout along with a Secured Venmo Link to make your Weekly Payments!

You will see we modified some areas on pricing and eliminated some areas. We have added a Third level of vendor, the Basic vendor, for $30 a day or $50 for the weekend, to give ALL a chance to be part of the Market! The Insurance Requirement will still be $5 a day or $10 a day for a Food Truck or Food Booth. We had a Vendor ask where does all the money go too?

First off for being in business for ourselves over 40 years if you don't have everything covered with insurance you will lose everything just that quick! The bigger you get the more people will try to ding you for the craziest things! To my surprise even with no claims the event insurance to make sure every Vendor is covered with 2 Million dollar coverage is $6900 for the season. As we saw this maybe an issue for some Vendors we made the commitment to have the policy
So that ALL Vendors had the opportunity to be part of this Great Market! We could go on with many other expenses but this is what we wanted to do for our Community, Our Vendors and Guests!



As I have had several Vendors reach out that don't mind having competition in the same space, which made us very happy to see the team work between the Vendors, we will monitor the amount of same style Vendors.They knew that they each had their own unique spin and could drive their own sales! Our commitment will always be listening to the Vendors to make it the Best for the Vendors and Guests!

As we continue to grow the attendance of guests we are always interested in different ways to create excitement for new ideas to make the Market more exciting each week. We had one Great Vendor today brought to the table some unique ideas to drive traffic
