Jet Machine is looking for 2nd Shift CNC Machine Operators. Responsibilities include:

Operate CNC Mazak Vertical and Horizontal Mills and Lathes as assigned, to manufacture parts to required specifications
Handle material and finished parts
Deburr parts
Perform routine maintenance
Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy to the required specifications
Other tasks as assigned ranging from operating other equipment to handling material.
Preferably have experience in a machine shop environment.

Final wages are dependent on qualifications and typically range from $15 - $23/hr to start for experienced operators. Overtime is available.

Hours are 3:15pm- 3:45am Monday through Thursday with overtime opportunities.

Employee Responsibilities
-Organizing received material
-Receive in and match up inventory delivered
-Load/unload delivery trucks using forklift
-Ship packages and skids to vendors and customers
-Communicating deliveries with employees
- Light/ medium Assembly
Schedule
-Monday thru Friday 6 am to 3:30 pm
-Overtime is available when workload is high.

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

The Quality Inspector works within the Inspection Department to primarily assure machined and welded parts meet customer specifications. Responsibilities and duties include:

• Reading and understanding customer and internal
drawings to determine material and production
requirements
• Complying with Jet Machine policies and procedures
• Ensuring that product meets specified requirements,
including raw material, work in process and finished
product
• Use of inspection equipment (ex. Calipers and
micrometers) to measure manufactured parts
• Documenting inspection results using Jet and/or
customer inspection report forms
• Creating Jet inspection reports and balloon drawings
• Maintain good housekeeping practices including
cleaning work area and inspection equipment
• Other tasks as assigned

JOB SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• High School education or equivalent
• Basic math skills and basic blue print reading
• Knowledge of the use of inspection equipment including
standard inspection hand tools, Faro Arm and CMM
• Attention to detailed inspection requirements
• Ability to create accurate paperwork, legibly and timely
• Use of SDS sheets and basic machine shop safety
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances
(GD&T) preferred
• General personal computer usage including Microsoft
Office
• Must be able to stand at least 8 hours per day and lift up
to 50 pounds

The Machine Operator works in the Machining Department and is responsible for general CNC machining of metal parts. Responsibilities and job duties include:

• Operating various milling and turning machinery and equipment, as assigned, to manufacture parts to required specifications
• Inspecting completed work to ensure accuracy to the required specifications and completing assigned inspection and job traveler paperwork
• Ensuring finished parts move to the next operation upon completion
• Informing Machining Lead of any problems or improvements of the manufacturing process
• General workmanship including deburring and cleaning finished parts
• Maintain good housekeeping practices including cleaning work area and inspection equipment
• Other tasks as assigned

JOB SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• High School education or equivalent
• Basic math skills and basic blue print reading
• Basic understanding of machine program and ability to
make tool offsets
• Use of SDS sheets and basic machine shop safety
• Must be able to stand at least 8 hours per day and lift up
to 50 pounds
• Possession of personal basic hand tools is preferred

* Produce laser cut steel parts using Mazak CNC Laser
* Load and unload materials
* Debur and clean parts as necessary
* Conduct routine preventive maintenance on the plant
* Inspect and record part measurements for quality control

Qualifications:
* Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields preferred
* Experience on Mazak CNC Laser equipment desired
* Forklift experience not required but preferred
* Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
* Ability to handle physical workload
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
