You were never meant to be a match for everyone. 🎀✨

For so many women, being liked can feel deeply connected to feeling safe. So we people-please, soften parts of ourselves, or become who we think we need to be to belong. 🌷

But there’s a difference between caring deeply about how you show up for the people you love and needing everyone you meet to approve of you. 🫧

Some people simply won’t connect with certain parts of you — just like you won’t connect with certain parts of them. And that’s okay. 🤍

There is still so much love, belonging, and acceptance waiting for you without having to make yourself a match for everyone. 🕊️💗

More from my conversation with Whitney Ellison on the latest episode of Write Your Own Story 🎧✨

What does it really mean to leave a legacy? 🕊️💜

It doesn’t require fame, extraordinary accomplishments, or having your name remembered by millions.

Sometimes, a legacy is simply the way you loved. The joy you carried. The way you made people feel. The little pieces of you that remain in the people and places you touched. ✨

In this week’s episode of Write Your Own Story, Whitney Ellison shares a beautiful reminder that how we choose to move through this world becomes part of what we leave behind. 🎀

We all leave a legacy. The question is: what do you want yours to feel like? 🤍🫧

✨ A new episode of Write Your Own Story is here ✨

This week, I’m joined by Whitney Ellison for a conversation about the kind of growth that asks you to look inward. 🌷

We talk about letting go of the need to save everyone, softening without losing your power, protecting your peace, following your curiosity, and learning where your energy is actually meant to go. 🎀🫧

Because sometimes writing your own story means realizing you were never responsible for writing everyone else’s, too. 🤍

How much of who you think you “should” be actually came from you? 🎀💭

As women, we’re constantly being told how we should look, how we should speak, how we should lead, how we should show up at work—and even who we should be at home. 🌷

At some point, you have to turn down the noise and decide for yourself:

How do I want to show up? 💗

In this week’s episode, Tianay Amat shares why she stopped worrying about being too loud, too bold, or too much and gave herself permission to lead as her most authentic self.

Because the things you’ve been told to tone down might actually be the things that make you powerful. ✨

After more than 25 years in public education and serving as interim superintendent of Cincinnati Public Schools, Tianay now serves as President & CEO of Cincinnati Works—and has dedicated so much of her leadership to helping others discover their own strengths and leadership styles. 🌸

We talk about authenticity, rejection and redirection, finding purpose beyond your job title, navigating failure, building confidence in who you are, and creating spaces where different perspectives are actually valued. 🩷

And sometimes writing your own story sounds a lot like:

“I can’t help it. This is who I am.” 🎀✨

Failure is something you experience. It’s not who you are. 💗✨

When we personalize failure, we become afraid to make the next decision. We overthink. We get stuck. We wait until we’re *sure* before we move.

But what if failure is actually proof that you’re growing? 🌷

As Tianay says in this week’s episode: "if you’re not failing, you’re not learning."

Fail quickly. Learn from it. Reflect. Adjust. Keep moving. 🎀✨

New episode with Tianay Amat 🎙️💗

After more than 25 years in public education and serving as interim superintendent of Cincinnati Public Schools, Tianay experienced a career rejection that ultimately redirected her toward a completely new chapter as President & CEO of Cincinnati Works.

In this conversation, we talk about turning rejection into redirection, uncovering the purpose underneath your career, making a major pivot without starting from scratch, and building enough confidence in who you are that failure doesn’t define you. 🌸

We also get into authentic leadership, building community, letting go of external validation, creating teams where people feel seen and valued, and having the courage to change direction when life is asking something different of you. 💕✨

If fear of making the “wrong” decision has been keeping you stuck, this episode is for you. 🩷

What if rejection isn’t punishment… but preparation? 💗✨

New episode with Tianay Amat 🎙️💗

Sometimes the moments that leave us feeling the most lost are actually the ones pushing us toward the most growth. 🌷

Instead of asking, “Why is this happening to me?” try asking: What is this here to teach me? 💭🩷

Because changing your perspective can change how you move through rejection, hardship, uncertainty—and ultimately, how you choose to write your next chapter. 🎀✨

After more than 25 years in public education and serving as interim superintendent of Cincinnati Public Schools, Tianay experienced a rejection that forced her to rethink what she actually wanted from her career—and uncover the deeper purpose that had been there all along.

Today, she’s the President & CEO of Cincinnati Works, and in this conversation, we go so much deeper than career pivots. 🌸

We talk about turning rejection into redirection, finding the purpose underneath the work you do, making a major career change without feeling like you’re starting over, navigating failure without letting it define you, and becoming a more authentic, people-first leader.

We also talk about building community as an adult, creating spaces where people feel seen and valued, letting go of external validation, and why sometimes the moments that make you feel the most uncomfortable are preparing you for your next chapter. 💕✨

If you’re in a season where you feel lost, rejected, or pulled toward something new, this conversation is for you. 🌷
