The move over law for slowing down is crucial. Tonight, we were on a rotation call and a pickup truck sped past three police cruisers and our tow truck. Two cruisers left the scene, caught up to the individual, and issued a citation. I hope that person learned their lesson; please slow down and move over, as four family lives were at risk in that situation.

Today is a somber day in our industry as we mourn the loss of a dispatcher from another company who tragically lost her life at her desk. Details are forthcoming, but we would like to take a moment to offer our condolences and prayers for her family, colleagues, and loved ones. It is imperative that we come together as an industry to support one another, particularly our dispatchers and office personnel who are integral to our operations. The loss of life is devastating, and it highlights the need for us to look out for each other. Our thoughts are with the family, colleagues, and company of the deceased dispatcher, and we pray that they find strength during this difficult time. May God be with them.
