Starting Friday out super early getting to my desk at 630am ✨

One thing I love about working for myself is being able to work early...or late...or midday...or from the park, or a car, or a plane or a train.

We're almost half way through 2024 and I'm living for all of the hard work I did last year, as it's finally paying off.

After a communications strategy call with a client this morning, I headed to for a Business Networking for Moms meetup where I got to hang with a dozen kick ass moms in business, and I had my first delicious matcha 👌🏼

This is my 4th year in business here at Coffee & Clarity and I finally feel like I've found a good groove with balancing it all + sourdough with (go follow if you haven't already!). If you want help transitioning your business to a place where you can rest + enjoy life, reach out.

I was doing some planning this week, and realized we are so close to the end of 2023!

Which means the chaos is about the start with holidays, winter weather, and all around last minute planning.

During one of my weekly calls with a client this week, I mentioned how I plan my week at a time and try not to overload myself with more than 3-5 tasks/day for work and home (seeing as sourdough is a whole other category, I try to keep each day easily successful).

This prompted a longer discussion about how small business owners can plan for the the end of year push...so here are my tips!

And a bonus tip that I live and breathe by EVERY SINGLE DAY: reward yourself for the small accomplishments. If you're a than you know dopamine is super important for getting things done. Find something that you can use to reward yourself each day - whether this be a special coffee after you've checked off your big tasks for the day, or a piece of dark chocolate at the end of the day. Whatever you choose, make it something that is truly a reward for yourself!
