Come enjoy an morning of delicious treats, coffee and celebration of Claremore’s entrepreneurial community. Any and all are welcome to join, even if it is your first 1 Million Cups event!

Let’s jingle, mingle and spread some holiday cheer! Join us this Wednesday, December 13 at 9:00 a.m. for the 1 Million Cups 2023 Holiday Party. All are welcome to celebrate Claremore’s entrepreneurial community and our successes this year.

For the past two years, Terri May Peters has been the driving force behind Claremore Economic Development's and Connect Claremore's small business endeavors. Her unwavering commitment and tireless efforts have made a significant impact by facilitating positive changes, cultivating relationships, and creating an environment that fosters entrepreneurship and growth. She has been instrumental in supporting small business leaders in Claremore, providing them with the necessary tools and guidance to achieve success.

As Terri moves on to new ventures and enjoys valuable time with her family, we want to express our sincere thanks for her lasting impact on our community. Her dedication and hard work have been an inspiration to us all, and we will continue to build on the foundation she has laid for small business engagement in our community.

It is Small Business Saturday! Claremore's small businesses play an active role by hosting and sponsoring events, donating to local charities, and forming partnerships with other local businesses. This holiday season, let's show our support to those who do so much to support our community on a daily basis. As you shop for the holidays, shop small, shop local, shop Claremore!

Happy Thanksgiving, Claremore! We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and partner with the many amazing businesses, entrepreneurs, and innovators who call Claremore home.

Our offices will be closed Thursday and Friday to allow our staff time with friends and family. We will resume normal business hours on Monday, November 27.

Small Business Saturday is almost here! Since 2010, this national movement has promoted the Saturday after Thanksgiving as a dedicated time to shop small and bring more holiday shopping to small businesses.

Founded by American Express and officially cosponsored by the SBA, Small Business Saturday has become an important part of small businesses’ busiest shopping season.

Even if you cannot shop in person, consider purchasing gift cards, ordering online, or utilizing pick-up/curbside options.

Remember Claremore, when you shop, shop small and support local!
