🍎🍏 The kids are off to school and Fall is officially underway... so bring on the apples! :) We are fortunate to live in a region with so many great farms that welcome families for apple picking. Our family really enjoys Blackman Farms in Lockport; you can check out their schedule and the type of apples offered each week to plan your visit here🍎🍏:

As we round out the last few days of August, you know what that means... it's almost time for the Labor Day Fair! 🇺🇸
We are happy to continue our support of the Clarence Center VFC's efforts to put on a full itinerary of events (see below). 🎆 Be sure to try this year's batch of Fireman's Chowder on Monday 9/7, powered with propane provided by Reliable Propane. See you there!

As you celebrate this weekend, you may be intrigued as we were by this list of grilling hacks: https://legendsofthegrill.com/hacks-for-the-grill/
Give them a try and remember we have honor tanks available if you encounter last-minute shortages outside our business hours. We hope you enjoy a happy & safe Independence Day!

There's a new red head in town! 🐦
Our windowsill has been selected as the perfect perch for what our former team member & resident ornithologist, Garner, has helped us identify as a chipping sparrow, who seems to be engrossed in our daily office activity (or it's own reflection 😅). Regardless, they are joining the weather in reminding us that our well-deserved Spring/Summer temperatures are officially back!

As Spring is giving previews of summer temperatures, our go-to celebratory treat is ice cream! 🍦
Perry's is always crafting fun new flavors--like this Tropical Chili Lime!🌴🌶️🍋‍🟩 We recently discovered that they have a "Flavor Finder" that enables customers to track down locations where their new (& old) flavors are available. Check it out here--& enjoy an extra scoop for us! 😋

A bit of gratitude that warmed our hearts this week came from Mary Ellen K. in Akron:
Dear Reliable,
I want to thank you, and especially the person who delivered propane to me yesterday in the miserable weather and down my 1/2 mile lane filled with snow. I am so grateful to you and to be warm.
Thank you so much,
Mary Ellen

Thank you, Mary Ellen, for recognizing the work our team puts in everyday but especially this time of year! We appreciate your business as well as the time you took to express your gratitude!

👀 All eyes are on the weather as we follow the Winter Storm Watch for this weekend. As you prepare, please make note to check that your exhaust vents are clear of snow. Stay warm & stay safe, friends!

Now that's some heavy lifting! 💪
This week, we got a delivery of new tanks and Bill stayed after-hours to help unload them. Since Daylight Savings ushers nightfall much sooner, it was a task that had to be finished in the dark! We're always grateful for our team that is continually willing to do what needs to be done--at any time of day--to serve our mission of providing you with a warm home.
