We know today’s weather may make travel difficult for some students, and it’s truly disappointing that not everyone may be able to participate.
Due to several logistical factors already in place — including judges, staff, venue scheduling, and coordination with the Iowa Beef Expo — today’s contest will continue as planned.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and encourage students and families to use their best judgment and travel safely.

Today marks 15 years since I graduated from World Wide College of Auctioneering in Mason City.

What started with a goal and a whole lot of grit has grown into something I’m proud to stand behind. The instruction I received at auction school, the support of the Iowa Auctioneers Association and the National Auctioneers Association, and the trust of buyers and sellers have all played a part in shaping this journey.

I’m also thankful for the salebarns, auction houses, and the many operations that continue to hire me to represent their businesses. That trust means something. When someone puts you in their ring to represent their customers, their reputation, and their livelihood — that’s not taken lightly.

Steward Auction Service didn’t grow by accident. It grew through relationships, hard work, long days, and people who believe in the auction method of marketing.

I am truly grateful for every handshake, every opportunity, and every bid.

Here’s to many more years of doing it the right way — sell at auction.
