🎆 Fireworks Safety Reminder 🎆

Before you toss leftover fireworks in your trash, make sure they’re handled safely.

1. SOAK 💧
Place any unused, misfired, or spent fireworks in a bucket of water. Let them soak completely—overnight is best to ensure they’re fully saturated.

2. WRAP 🛍️
Once the fireworks are thoroughly wet, drain excess water and place them in a resealable plastic bag. This helps keep them from drying out again.

3. DISPOSE 🗑️
PLACE Wet fireworks in bag, then place in your garbage. Not in recycling or yard waste containers.

Keeping these steps in mind helps protect your community and your collection crews.

T & S Sanitation will not be picking up any trash on Monday for Memorial Day. Alexander and Belmond will be Tuesday. Rowan, Galt, and Dows will be Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will run as normal.
