Northwest Pennsylvania Innovation Support Program Recognizing Innovation: From Idea to Marketplace

This state sponsored program gives complementary, all encompassing support for inventors and small businesses to transform an idea to a successful business. Awardees receive business support and access to the Innovation Laboratories and services at Clarion university's Center for Applied Research and Intellectual Property Development (CARIPD). These facilities include wet lab and clean room space,

along with a wealth of equipment focused in industrial prototype design, nanotechnology, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical technology development. Applicants will be eligible for micro-grants and have access to business consultation services from our partners at the Clarion University Small Business Development Center, Ben Franklin Technology Partners, and the Clarion County Economic Development Corporation.

* Complementary access to laboratory and prototype development facilities

*Introduction to long-term funding sources
