One question we get asked all the time is, “Do you have color phase bears in Idaho?”

The answer is yes! Just take a look at Michael and Amanda’s first bear harvests. This husband-and-wife team was fortunate enough to harvest two beautiful color-phase bears—a chocolate and a blonde!

Color phases add an extra level of excitement to bear hunting, and seeing two different color phases harvested by the same couple made for a memorable hunt. Congratulations again to Michael and Amanda, and great job by their guide, Jacob, on a successful adventure! 🐻

Big congratulations to Dave on an unforgettable birthday bear hunt! What an incredible gift from his wife — a bear hunt that turned into a successful harvest after an exciting run with the hounds.

From the sound of the dogs to the adrenaline of the chase, this was a hunt Dave won’t soon forget. Memories like these with good friends and great dogs are what it’s all about.

Bear season is rolling along and we’ve had a couple bears harvested already here at Clark Fork Outfitters! It’s been great seeing hunters finding success and making memories in the spring woods.

Another great hunt in the books for a father and son duo! Dad was able to harvest a nice bear, while the son had multiple opportunities during the hunt and made some great memories along the way.

Congratulations to Jeremy on harvesting his bear, and congratulations to both hunters on a great trip in the mountains. Guided by Jacob, this hunt was full of action and time well spent in the woods together.
