One of the first major podcasts I had the opportunity to work on was Yellowstone back in 2021. I recorded the audio for the very first episode of Season 1 at BlueWire Studios, and looking back, it helped shape how we moved forward with our recording methods at the studio.

The session came with challenges — the AC was constantly running and the room acoustics weren’t ideal — but we made it work. With the right approach and attention to detail, we captured a clean, professional recording, and the final episode sounded great.

I originally recorded the audio for this video back in 2022, but never added the sound design.

Recently, just for fun, I went back and finished the piece the way I originally imagined it — adding sound design and giving the mix a fresh pass to bring more life and energy to the story.

This 8-bit animated video features former U.S. Men’s National Team player Eric Wynalda. Always cool to revisit older work and hear how much the right sound can elevate the final piece.
