9 Years ago to the very exact day I was waking up at 3:15 am to get ready for first child to come at 4:15am on my very first day as a Daycare Provider. Now today I will be preparing myself to say goodbye to my very last daycare child. 🥺 over the last 9 years I've been lucky to be apart of 38 children's lives. I've got to watch first time parents become second and even sometimes 3x parents. I've got to witness the first steps, rolls, words etc. See the excitement on a child's face when they lost their first tooth, learned something new, did something they were proud of etc. Some of those kids I started off with will be starting their first year of college, getting their driver's license, heading into middle school, starting kindergarten etc. this year. While the time I spent with every child felt like a big moment I know I'm only a small part in what they're going to experience in life as they're off to learn and explore and grow into their own lives. I'll forever be grateful for all the parents that put their trust into me with their most precious gifts that life has to offer. 🥹❤️ I'll never forget any of you or your children. I'm also thankful I'm in a small community where I get to still see these kids around 🙂
