Happy holidays. It’s time to get your sparkling on. We have four different sparkling wines for the holiday. Pomegranate nice and refreshing and a great brunch wine. Our rosé, which is Pinot Noir dominant with a little Chardonnay done off dry. Our new release sparkling red sangria. Becoming a big favorite. And of course the ever popular peach mango. OK, so you know what they say, good things come in small packages. So this is our port styled wine. It is made from Zinfandel grapes. It’s 12 years old barreled aged for just over 11 years and it’s spent the last 10 years in the same barrel. Nice balance of sweetness and alcohol. Alcohol content is just over 21%. Pairs great with chocolate desserts. Makes a great after dinner drink. Share a bottle today with friends.

The three amigos late harvest, Zinfandel, Syrah , and a Napa Valley Coombsville Cabernet Savignon. All three have approximately the same sugar and alcohol content. The late harvest Zinfandel is the lightest of the three. The late harvest Syrah has a bit more structure and depth and it was a gold medal winner. The late harvest Cabernet Sauvignon is from the Coombsville AVA in Napa Valley. This is a much denser wine with a lot of structure and slight tannins. All three will pair well with chocolate desserts. Come pick out your favorite.

Moscato and sweet Sauvignon Blanc. The Moscato, nice and light and floral. Nice easy drinking on its own by the glass. Serve it not too cold. Pairs well with salads and also spicy food. Helps put the fire out. Sweet Sauvignon Blanc is the sweetest wine I make. This is a dessert wine that pairs well with Non-chocolate desserts. I like it with cookies, especially white chocolate macadamia cookies. Use your imagination.

Here is our collection of sweet and dessert lines. I know most people say they don’t like sweet wines. But there is a time and place for them. Now is really a good time as you get together with family and friends with all those wonderful desserts. I will do a separate post about the sweet white wines, the three late harvest reds and the Port styled wine.
