We kicked off our Fourth of July celebration with great food, friendly competition, and plenty of patriotic spirit! 🌭🔥

Our team put their USA history knowledge to the test during a fun-filled round of patriotic trivia (special thanks to Andrea for putting everyone to the challenge!) while enjoying an incredible grilled lunch prepared by Chef Jose. 👨‍🍳

It was a great way to celebrate the holiday, enjoy each other's company, and make lasting memories together. As America celebrates its 250th birthday, we're proud to honor the freedoms that unite us, the history that shaped us, and the people who make our workplace such a great place to be.

We're proud to recognize Project New Hope as one of the three recipients of a $2,500 donation through the Second Annual Chase Plastics Honoring Our Heroes Veteran Giveback Campaign.

Project New Hope is dedicated to ensuring that no service member, veteran, or military family faces life's challenges alone by providing free retreats, wellness programs, educational opportunities, and compassionate support in a respectful and inclusive environment.

This outstanding organization was nominated by Chris, who shared why Project New Hope deserves this recognition. "Project New Hope empowers Veterans, Service Members, and their families through transformative retreats, essential resources, and holistic support services. My wife is currently employed at the Veterans Affairs in Worcester, MA. The VA is a nationwide organization, and I feel that local support is something that sometimes gets overlooked. I reached out to her to see if there were any local organizations that are in need of some extra support. This is one that she has known for quite some time, and feels comfortable in saying they are a reputable organization to support and are in need of additional funds."

As one of the three recipients of a $2,500 donation through the Second Annual Chase Plastics Honoring Our Heroes Veteran Giveback Campaign, we're proud to recognize Homes For Our Troops for its unwavering commitment to our nation's severely injured post-9/11 veterans.
This charity was nominated by two different customers - Melinda and Steven. Melinda says, "Homes for Our Troops' mission is to build and donate specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives. Evaluated as one of America's Top-Rated Veterans and Military Charities. Roughly 90 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to program services, with only about 4% allocated to administrative/ management costs. The remainder of the funds is for fundraising efforts to sustain their national building projects. They set Veterans up with dogs trained to their disability or who are struggling."

Our customer, Katie, nominated Salute to the Fallen Foundation for her "Honoring Our Heroes" veteran giveback charity. She says, "What others should know about Salute to the Fallen is that their work is focused on standing with veterans and their families long after service ends. They support veterans who are struggling with isolation, PTSD, or the transition back into civilian life by staying connected and making sure they are not left alone. They also provide care packages and outreach to deployed service members and National Guard units, helping maintain a strong connection back home and reminding them their service is valued. They are also there for the fallen Iowa National Guard soldiers and their families, especially in tight-knit communities where those losses are deeply personal. When service members from places like Iowa are killed in action, it is not just a headline. It is a neighbor, a friend, and a family member whose absence is felt across an entire town. Salute to the Fallen works to honor those lives, support grieving families, and make sure their sacrifice is remembered long after the public attention fades. Their mission also includes crisis support and prevention by helping connect veterans to mental health resources and stepping in when someone is in a difficult moment. In rural areas especially, they work to make support more accessible before situations reach a breaking point. At the center of everything is a simple goal: to make sure veterans are supported, remembered, and never left to carry what they are going through alone."
