US Strategic Metals was proud to sponsor a hole and a team at the Fredericktown High School Football Golf Tournament held on Sunday, July 27th! This fun event, organized by the Blackcat Football Parent Group, supports the hardworking athletes of the FHS Blackcat Football Team. We believe in investing in our local community, especially when it comes to empowering young people. We’re honored to play a small part in helping fuel the future of Blackcat Football. Thanks to everyone who made the tournament a success! Special thanks to our very own Mine Supervisor, Darian Bowling for representing USSM out on the course! Go Blackcats!

Today, we're proud to recognize and celebrate the incredible contributions of our two talented interns — Teddy Millhollan and James Bodnar — who have brought energy, fresh ideas, and dedication to our USSM team.

Teddy Millhollan is heading into his senior year at the University of Kentucky, pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Teddy joined us to gain hands-on experience in engineering while also learning the business side of the industry. We’re excited to see where his journey takes him next — possibly to a master’s program!

James Bodnar returns this year from Missouri S&T for his second internship with us. This summer, James is building on the work he started last year — taking ownership of planning maintenance strategies and helping set up critical systems and inventory ahead of production. His growth and initiative have been outstanding!

Thank you, Teddy and James for your hard work! You’re both making a real impact, and we can’t wait to see what you achieve next!

We had an incredible time at our USSM Family BBQ this past weekend! From delicious food to the laughter coming from the bouncy castle and yard games, it was a day full of fun, connection, and community. The kids had a blast with the water activities, and it was great to see so many smiles all around the park.

A big thank you to everyone who pitched in to make the event such a success. We’re proud to work for a company that values not just what we do, but who we are—families included!

The IEA’s 2025 Mining Outlook reveals a powerful opportunity: Scaled up recycling could reduce the need for new critical mineral mining by up to 30% by 2040.

This matters because recycled nickel, cobalt, and lithium has the potential to produce around 80% fewer greenhouse gas emissions than materials mined from scratch.

US Strategic Metals (USSM) is at the forefront, using advanced recycling technology to support the energy transition and strengthen U.S. industrial competitiveness.

We’re beyond excited to share that US Strategic Metals won FIRST PLACE in the Commercial Division at this year’s 2025 Fredericktown Azalea Festival Parade, held yesterday!

This year’s Azalea Festival theme was, “Tall Tales and Dusty Trails,” – which was the perfect inspiration for our mine cart–themed float. With the slogan “Remediating the Past, Prospecting the Future,” we paid tribute to both our roots in mining and our commitment to innovation and sustainability.

A special moment from the day: two of our employees had the honor of posing with the Azalea Princess—who is also the granddaughter of one of our team members.

Thank you to everyone who helped plan, design, build, and bring this vision to life. We’re proud to be part of such an amazing community and grateful for the chance to celebrate with our neighbors in Fredericktown.
