It’s hard to beat fresh stone on a driveway!

This customer took advantage of our $1,500 service! This includes:

Grading out the existing driveway repairing potholes and bringing stone back to the surface

Hauling in a triaxle load of #8 limestone

Spreading new stone on the driveway

Compacting everything with a vibratory roller leaving a flat, smooth surface

Here’s your routine reminder that the cheapest price isn’t always the cheapest option for the project!

We were called out to repair a water line that was damaged while footers were being excavated for a home addition.

Private water lines are unfortunately pretty common to find the “hard” way during excavation. Unlike public utilities, private lines aren’t marked as part of the standard 811 “Call Before You Dig” process.

In this case, the excavation contractor discovered the water line while digging, but failed to notify anyone that it had been damaged.

The result? Water dumped into the basement for HOURS, ultimately flooding the homeowner’s finished basement and turning what should have been a routine excavation project into a major mess.

This is exactly why choosing a contractor based solely on the lowest price can sometimes cost you far more in the long run.

Check out the before and after on this 8’ x 32’ x 8’ (2) course retaining wall!

We installed (1) 6”, (3) 2” and (1) 4” penetrations for utility installations. Now the plumber will follow behind taking care of the plumbing rough-in, then followed by concrete!

This wall is a great start to what is going to be an AWESOME pool house setup!

Know that feeling when the customer watches you work all day?

You start feeling like they’re looking over your shoulder, checking every load of material to make sure you’re staying on budget and matching that estimate.

At least this customer is ADORABLE! She’s just keeping a close eye on us to make sure we don’t get any dirt on her pool toys. 😆

Some jobs just SUCK, and this was one of them! Thankfully, this project was completed for some wonderful customers!

We installed approximately 165’ of water service to make watering their farm animals much easier. Sounds simple enough, right? Well… not exactly. 😂

We had to cross 8 total utilities:
• 2 private LP gas lines
• 2 private low-voltage lines
• 1 low-voltage residential feed
• 2 fiber network lines
• 1 high-voltage transformer feed

Utilizing safe digging practices, along with a very helpful private utility locator, we’re happy to say we ALMOST completed this without hitting a utility line. 😂

The 2 casualties were both private low-voltage lines that weren’t expected to be there, but thankfully, both were easily repaired!

Not every job goes exactly as planned, but the important thing is getting it done safely and taking care of any issues that come up along the way. 💪

The wait is OVER!!!

After 14 long weeks of impatiently waiting, the new trailer has arrived! This purchase is a huge step forward for us, setting up the next 5 years for some tremendous growth that I’m very excited for. This entire summer has been scheduled around selling the trailer that this has replaced and making sure we were working locally for the gap between having a heavy trailer in the fleet.

Also, Johnson Tree Service deserves a very big ‘thank you’ for helping get this offloaded at 10 PM in a nasty downpour. Make sure to give them a call ((317) 664-1643) for your tree removal needs!

Wow! This driveway received a much needed makeover!

After bailing out ~8” of water, we got to work on raising the driveway elevation! As you can see on the fence, this property holds a tremendous amount of water. Due to unfortunate site conditions, the economical route of raising the driveway was chosen to allow the customer to continue use of this drive.

Not only was the customer happy - the neighbor was too! So much so, that they are now also on the schedule to get their driveway renovated!

If you’re looking to have an excavation project completed, get ahold of us ASAP to get the process started. We are very quickly running out of time available for this year.
