Bobby Southerlin has completed his reproductions of a Thoms Creek ceramics assemblage. This ceramic type dates to the Late Archaic subperiod - 3000-1000 BC and has been recovered in South Carolina and in the southern Coastal Plain of North Carolina. The predominant vessel type is an open mouthed bowl. Surface modifications include reed and shell punctations, incising, and scraping.
