The Monday 📣 PSA:
Our pressure washing hose is very durable and high-quality. However, there are some things that it is simply not made for. Mother Nature ❄️ ⛄️ , in this instance, is one of this things that pressure washing hoses cannot overcome.
When hose carts are left outside during winter with water in them, water freezes 🧊 and expands, and that pressure has to go somewhere 💣. In this instance, it came right out the sidewall of the stainless steel braided hose.
There had to be close to 6,000 PSI inside this hose to be able to burst like this. It’s crazy to even say this. 6,000 pounds per square inch of force pushing from the inside, out.
A reminder not to battle mother nature! Bring that hose inside to keep it from freezing, or if there is not room inside, blow the hose out with air so there’s no water sitting in it.
