Overwhelm them with well documented evidence.
1. SRP, failed shingle repairability
2. SRP-V, failed vent repairability
3. RUA, failure to maintain a reasonable uniform appearance

There's definitely a right way and a wrong way to handle shingles when documenting material transfer.

📸 Photo Tip: Even if the shingle’s already toast, show care in how you handle it. One wrong move and the adjuster might assume you did the damage.

Step 4 of the SRP states, "After both rows are unsealed, gently lift each shingle and inspect their underside for material transfer. Do your best to reduce shingle damage when capturing photos that document their condition."
