📚 Collaborative Labs at St. Petersburg College was proud to facilitate the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative (PPLC) 2026–2030 Strategic Planning Workshop on September 24, 2025!
👥 Library leaders, directors, and staff gathered to shape the future of library services in Pinellas County. The day was filled with 🤝 collaboration, 💡 innovation, and a shared commitment to 🌍 community impact.
What makes PPLC so special?
It’s a countywide network of 14 member libraries across 25 locations, offering:
• 📖 One library card for all locations
• 🎉 Free programs for all ages
• 💻 Online resources, 🧑‍🏫 tutoring, 🖨️ printing, and 🏢 meeting spaces
• 🧏 Services for the blind, deaf, and hard of hearing
• 🧰 Tools and even 🎸 ukuleles available for checkout!

Hosted by Pinellas County Economic Development and facilitated by the Collaborative Labs, we dove deep into critical conversations around skill gaps, workforce training, and the evolving needs of our local manufacturing sector.

Camelot Leverages AI with Collaborative Labs to keep the Ball Moving!

Leaders from Camelot Community Care gathered at Collaborative Labs to shape their 2025–2028 Strategic Plan—and it was no ordinary strategy session. The team explored bold goals in leadership, organizational excellence, and financial accountability with agility and insight.

In true Collaborative Labs fashion, we tossed innovation into the mix by integrating Microsoft Copilot and AI-powered prompts. Participants explored ways to turn “Excellence in Action” from a theme into a reality. Teams engaged in deep critical thinking, evaluated AI recommendations in the context of Camelot’s culture, and identified meaningful actions to elevate leadership and strengthen organizational culture.

From envisioning Camelot’s 2028 success story to creating a 6-month success roadmap, the team proved that when strategy meets technology—and a few airborne ideas—impact is inevitable.
