It is with great sadness and heartache that we share with you all the news of the passing of our founder, Buddy Thompson.

Here’s some history on the name “T&T” and how this legacy got to where it is today.

In 1989, the name T&T began, with a street sweeping company owned and operated by Buddy and Louise Thompson. In 2003, their son Ricky joined the business and they introduced port-o-let toilets into their business plan, which formed the name “T&T Sweeping and Port-o-Let Services”. With hard work, dedication, love and support, Buddy and Louise paved the way to success and to what T&T has become today.

In January of 2020, the T&T family suffered a huge loss, when we had to say goodbye to our beloved Louise. Despite Buddy losing the love of his life, his business partner and the woman who kept him in line, he continued to show up to the shop and run the legacy that they had started together, until eventually making the decision it was time to pass the legacy onto his son Ricky and his wife Sissy.

Although T&T is now owned and operated by Ricky and Sissy, when Buddy showed up to the shop, it was clear who the boss still was. Buddy continued to show up and help out wherever his help was needed and offer guidance and support to the guys in the shop, and the girls in the office. The shop won’t be the same without our “Buddy” coming around and keeping us all in line.

We ask that our friends, family and customers keep us in your thoughts and prayers and be patient with our staff as we work through this difficult time.

To our beloved founder, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, cousin, uncle, friend and boss: We will forever be indebted by your hard work and success, and will continue this legacy for years to come.
