Black Hawk International Security LLC, a military friendly employer, is seeking to hire FT, PT, and Seasonal Security Officers in the Morehead City area for Armed and Unarmed Security. Mission goal is to ensure the safety, security, and protection our clients' visitors, employees, and assets through observation, high visibility, and enforcing clients' rules and regulations set forth by the clients' needs, State Laws, and various other governing regulatory bodies.
The duties will consist of access control by granting or denying entry onto client's property; conducting foot and/or vehicular patrols; working closely with the public in a professional manner; completing all reports in a timely manner. Each employee is expected to maintain a professional demeanor, meet company grooming requirements, and comply with all safety rules and regs at all times.
All shifts currently available. Respond soon for selection.
All Security Personnel must be registered with the North Carolina Private Protective Services Board in accordance with N.C.G.S. 74c. Training and assistance with NC registration is provided along with uniforms and necessary equipment.
All payroll is Direct Deposit. Uniforms are of good quality and comfortable.
We work closely with each employee for scheduling needs as the contract allows. We provide free training classes to our employees when available (PPSB Unarmed, Armed pistol, shotgun, rifle, CCH, Fi****ms Training, CPR, etc. See website). www.BHiSecurity.net
We value our employees greatly since our employees are the most visible part of the company and our employees are our greatest investment. We believe in training our employees to better themselves, but, treat them well enough that they want to stay.

Note: If you are NOT currently PPSB registered you are required to complete 16 hours of Unarmed Guard Training per NC G.S.74c. We provide the training free to prospective employees.

Today Sgt. Alvers retires. After eight years he is our last "Charter Employee". He will be looking forward to spoiling his grandchildren and hunting at every opportunity.
Ricky we will surely miss you greatly. But we also wish you many years of enjoyable retirement.

Sgt Jim Vaselovic, of Morehead City PD, reached the his end of watch this morning. Sgt Vaselovic was a big supporter of BHI and was an all around great person to talk to. He will be deeply missed by his family, his Department, the community, and BHI.

BHI annual recertification for three of our top personnel went very well. We went through some practice drills using some very cheap and dirty ammo. Hey, its get what you can for practice, if you can get any, these days. Uka started with a compact S&W and... if you know what Maggie Drawers are. I need not go further. She decided to try my Polymer framed Witness, a pistol she has never shot before and ended up doing quite well.
The Lt., despite the dirty ammo used earlier, did very well for an Army veteran. I'm joking of course. He was an MP and during the practice drills had the best times. From "Beep to Bang" always less than 1.5 seconds and the fastest splits of three tenths of a second.
The Maj, an Air Force combat veteran, had the toughest time. Seems his Beretta is a bit finicky when it comes to dirty ammo. During the quals (although we were using duty ammo at this time his pistol had become very dirty) his pistol experienced several malfunctions. But he was able to clear them rapidly, but he had to rush his shots. Still, his score tied the Lt's on the night quals. Army MP vs. Air Force Security Police, if I had to pick, I'd go Air Force because of the malfunctions he cleared and still tied Lt. on the night quals. Plus he holds the higher rank.
Overall, we had a great time.

This Memorial Day, we want to honor the brave men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice to protect the freedoms we enjoy.

It is because of their bravery we are able to gather with our family and friends, and we as a nation must never forget that.

As we pay tribute to the servicemembers who have given their lives serving our nation, we should also take a chance to thank the men and women in uniform who are currently serving.

May is Military Appreciation Month, and I hope every American will join us in showing their appreciation to all the servicemembers and their families for taking the oath to serve our country.

We will always be grateful for their service and sacrifice on behalf of our great nation.

*21 years of age (Armed)
*18 Years of age (Unarmed)
*High School Diploma or GED
*Able to obtain PPSB registration per NC G.S. 74c (Company assisted)
*Maintain a professional demeanor
*Be of good morale turpitude

Note: If you are NOT currently PPSB registered you are required to complete 16 hours of Unarmed Guard Training per NC G.S.74c. We provide the training free to prospective employees. CURRENTLY this training is completed online due to the COVID19 restrictions.
