Serenity Orchard | Umatilla, Florida

Are you looking for more than just a job? Do you feel called to serve, mentor, and help young women discover their value, purpose, and identity in Christ?

Serenity Orchard, a ministry of Courageous & Free Ministries, is seeking a spiritually mature, compassionate, and dependable woman to serve as our House Director.

Our desire is to create more than a residential program. We are creating a safe, peaceful, Christ-centered home where young women are treated like family, surrounded by healthy relationships, and given the encouragement and practical support they need to move forward.

The House Director will help:

• Establish and protect the spiritual and emotional atmosphere of the home

• Build healthy, appropriate relationships with the young women

• Oversee the home’s daily operations and schedule

• Coordinate and support volunteers

• Ensure staff and volunteers are properly trained

• Make sure case-management responsibilities are being completed

• Maintain accurate paperwork, records, and household procedures

• Respond calmly and wisely during difficult situations

• Communicate with ministry leadership regarding the needs of the home

• Help create a home filled with structure, accountability, grace, and love

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a strong and active relationship with Jesus Christ

• Views this opportunity as both a professional position and a ministry calling

• Is emotionally mature, trustworthy, organized, and dependable

• Can lead with both compassion and appropriate boundaries

• Works well with young women who may have experienced trauma or difficult circumstances

• Can manage staff, volunteers, schedules, paperwork, and household responsibilities

• Remains calm and makes sound decisions during stressful situations

• Is willing to complete all required background screening

• Has reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Experience in ministry, residential programs, social services, education, counseling, foster care, recovery, or mentoring is helpful, but we are also looking closely at the person’s character, leadership ability, and heart for this mission.

This is a paid leadership position located in the Umatilla/Lake County area. Compensation and schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
