About the Coach:
Melissa was raised in a Midwestern agricultural community where hard work created m

oral fiber and character. Those qualities proved foundational in a challenging private undergraduate program to doctorate level education. Her accomplished military career gave her room literally at the table with Commanders to serve as their moral and ethical advisor. Melissa's expertise was requested by a one star General for his medical center accreditation. She was in the top 1% of her career field hand-picked to attend a military residency program. Her military role as confidant gave her understanding to the complexities of leadership and the importance of why leaders need a coach in their corner.

Another piece of armor found in Ephesians 6 is the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:17 NIV). Hebrews 4:12a describes the Word of God, ” For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword.” The Word of God also has a purpose. Hebrews 4:12b reads, “It penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” So the Word penetrates or pierces and it judges.
