One of my favorite CLE memories of all time came after attending the opening ceremonies of Gay Games 9 in 2014. As the 15,000 or so athletes and attendees left the arena, they were greeted with the Terminal Tower lit up like a rainbow. It literally stopped people in their tracks. They hugged, cried and took pictures - lots of pictures. As a Cleveland rep who was working at the games, it was an amazing sight. Many athletes came up to me and shared how much it meant to them that our city would go out of its way to make everyone feel so welcomed. It made me proud. Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈

happened today in . We saw the ever-expanding Cleveland Clinic campus, new and renovated homes around East 89th Street and the nation’s oldest African American theatre, . And can’t forget lunch at where the hype around their smash burgers is legit.

Brooklyn Centre was the location for today’s . We stopped at Gino’s Cento Anno and walked the surrounding neighborhood. The Denison bridge, which crosses the Cuyahoga River and leads to Slavic Village, provided the scenic views into the Industrial Valley.
