54% feel guilty if they work while on vacation.
47% feel guilty if they don't work while on vacation.
One in four admitted that their boss demands them to work on vacations.
70% of people have experienced mental health issues due to overworking, with 43% suffering from anxiety and one in eight turning to harmful substances.
34% of people choose to work while on vacation because they love their job. However, 29% do so out of fear of losing it.

Two-thirds of workers have experienced alarming physical health issues, such as chronic pain and a weakened immune system, caused by overworking.

I wish I knew everything would fall into place once I finally took the leap.

I had so many doubts about starting my own business even though I knew I had the skills to help so many people.

The most important thing I learned from starting my virtual assistant business is there is a better way to earn a living.

I was stuck in a very toxic corporate environment and fear (of not making enough money, of feeling like a failure if I left) took a toll on me physically and emotionally and kept me there so much longer than I wanted to be.

I’m healing now. I’m happier now and I want the same for you.

I truly believe we need to break up the monotony of our day-to-day responsibilities.

This also means being intentional with some of our free time (I fully recommend doing nothing and just decompressing once in a while!)

We all have so much going on at all times that sometimes we can’t even fathom relaxing and I’m here to remind you - YOU NEED TO RELAX😂

I relax by leaning into my hobbies and my absolute favorite way to spend some free time is to play in the dirt🤎. Spending time in nature and caring for my little spot of land allows my mind to quiet and just focus on the task at hand. I’m visually engaged, I’m feeling the physical sensations of caring for my plants, I’m noticing the birds and other animals around me, and fueling my natural curiosity.

This is how I de-stress because it finally gives my mind a chance to slow down and just enjoy what is in front of me. It allows me to be present and fully enjoy the moment💚.

I’d love to know how you de-stress and please be honest - do you have trouble relaxing?
