As a former founder/ owner of M. Rivera Construction, Mark Rivera has worked in the construction field for over 35 years with a strong union background.
Establishing his residence in Cleveland Ohio,
Working in the trades and determine to achieve acknowledgement as a professional Hispanic contractor.
Mark Rivera was also busy with a professional boxing career in 1983, he went on to win the Ohio State Light- Heavyweight title.
In 1985, Mark Rivera fought Evander Holyfield on ABC’s “ Wide World of Sports”.
He retired in 1986 to continue his journey as a trainer/manager sharing his experience and knowledge. Mark presented some of the best local Boxing productions in Cleveland during his time .
With the same perseverance Mark displayed during his boxing career In 1995, Mark formed M. Rivera Construction. Recently retiring from the labor force with Local Laborers 310 and MRC he continues with the same spirit shifting his focus to M.Rivera Productions , Inc.
Mark Rivera’s perseverance and determination helped him accomplish a lifelong dream of developing a successful Hispanic Business in Cleveland and he hopes to continue being a part of the fabric that makes Cleveland what it is today .
Mark has always looked for the possible when others say it’s impossible. He is vested in his business and in the growth of his community.
Mark says his greatest strengths are his vision and the ability to get the best out of those who surround him and to give his best in return .
Mark Rivera has grown from his past experiences and achievements, focuses on the present to achieve a brighter future for himself his family and his community.
