It is not too late to register for the Healing Empowerment Circle, Healing from the Trauma of Gun Violence.

A few days after I first posted this event there was a drive by shooting where my niece lives. Someone across the street from their house was shot and is in critical condition. We all are impacted by gun violence in some way shape or form.

It seems that everyday we hear about more and more gun violence. It makes me sad, it makes me angry. We all need to heal from these acts of senseless violence though we may not be affected directly. You may be a survivor of this kind of violence, witnessed it personally or wondering what you can do about it. Sankofa Listens Peer Counseling Model for Healing (PCMH) provides a safe space to explore these feelings, emotions. experiences.
