Maybe you’ve been afraid to say this out loud or acknowledge it as true 🤷‍♀️

No selling more or harder is going to get you to the business you want to have if you’re not factoring this in right now:

The entrepreneurs that understand the value the provider lives in WHO THEY ARE (not what the deliver) are going to be the ones that thrive in what’s coming next.

Here’s what most people will never say out loud 👇

Your successful (on the outside) business doesn’t feel like it fits you anymore 🫣

What used to be your DREAM day... doing the work you loved... the work you prayed you would be able to make a living doing...

Now feels like checking “must-do”s off your list.

Maybe something you’re feeling like you’re GETTING THROUGH instead of something you GET TO DO.

Did that hit your heart a little?

If so, I want you to get honest, and ask yourself:

1️⃣: When you book a new client, is there a small part of you that dreads delivering the offer? 😳 (you can be honest… safe space here 🫶)

Maybe since you created and validated your offers… you had kids… or your kids got older.

Maybe you moved across the world… went through a health crisis… a breakup…

OR, maybe you are realizing your newly diagnosed-as-an-adult neurodivergent mind wasn’t meant to work in the way your business is structured. (👋 hi it’s me 😅)

Bottom line: You’ve changed, and your business hasn’t caught up.

2️⃣: Do you believe that you’re one optimized funnel, marketing strategy, or price change away from “success?”

This is like trying to find an outfit that makes you feel like the epitome of YOU… your BEST self… FULLY expressed… 
But you’re choosing from the closet full of clothes that all fit you 4 SIZES AGO 😬… pre-GLP-1  (Again, 👋 me 🙃)

You can’t feel like your BEST SELF when the options you’re picking from were chosen for who you WERE and not who you are NOW 🙅‍♀️

And when you’re so used to your own closet (*cough* business or offers *cough*) it’s nearly impossible to see what you ACTUALLY need from there.

The business you built to get you where you are today isn’t the one that is going to get you where you want to go.

You have to reimagine your foundation first.

The good news though 👉 You don’t have to burn everything down to feel like your business fits you again.

You don’t need a better strategy. You need a business that fits who you are NOW 👇  Truth 💣: You’ll never have a perfect business… because one ❌doesn’t exist❌

… But? Getting to a place where your business supports your life AND feels more than worth it again…

Where you are living your version of success?

That CAN happen!

Here’s the announcement I’ve been SO excited to share with you….

🥳 We’re going into business together!!!

Being a full-time entrepreneurial family has always been the long-term goal for us, and it always felt sooooo far away.

This spring, there was an… interesting? 😅 experience that happened with Todd’s job. It was no longer… At first, he went into job searching mode. He became primary parent, and we went like that for a while trying to figure out next steps.

While we both could, we were taking on jobs that we were already hiring out for the rental home business. Only with this, we were paying ourselves instead of contractors and saving a p**p ton of money for the rental business this way. We loved being able to work with our hands and this kind of work allowed us to use our natural skills and flow with our family life. We went on like this for 3mo.

Two weeks ago, we sat down and took a good look at our numbers. We realized that the life we were getting to live doing this work was incredible. If Todd went back to corporate, that would mean entire days with him away, hiring more full-time support for the kids, and at the end of the day we wouldn’t be making much progress towards our financial goals with the additional expenses.

We decided to officially start a design and renovation company! Not only are we going to be working on our own rentals, we’re now available for hire if you are local to Cleveland and wanting upgrades to your homes!

I’m taking my decade plus of business experience running an agency and building out the foundation of this business now. I’ve been obsessed with learning what people have hated and loved about their own renovation experiences, and we’re going to be making this an ENJOYABLE experience. Clear budgets and schedules. Beautiful (budget friendly) design!We’ll manage everything, including the other experts we will need to hire for the things we can’t do ourselves.

Just a little birthday fun before I head to bed ✌️ What’s something that 10 years ago you would be shocked to learn about your life now?

Mine’s the fact that I’ve been a full-time entrepreneur for 8 years! It always felt like this thing that would happen “some day,” but never felt close. I can’t imagine life any other way now!
